Administrative Assistant (Level 1)

Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant will support the daily operations of the company by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role will require exceptional organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail
  • Maintain and manage schedules, including scheduling appointments and meetings, and maintaining an updated calendar
  • Organize and maintain files and records, both physically and electronically
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, including letters, memos, and emails
  • Greet and assist visitors to the office
  • Conduct research and gather information as required
  • Coordinate and plan events, such as meetings and conferences
  • Handle confidential information and maintain a high level of discretion
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Up to 2 years of administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
