Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will support the daily operations of the company by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role will require exceptional organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail
- Maintain and manage schedules, including scheduling appointments and meetings, and maintaining an updated calendar
- Organize and maintain files and records, both physically and electronically
- Prepare and manage correspondence, including letters, memos, and emails
- Greet and assist visitors to the office
- Conduct research and gather information as required
- Coordinate and plan events, such as meetings and conferences
- Handle confidential information and maintain a high level of discretion
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Up to 2 years of administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
