Data Entry Specialist (Level 1)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately inputting and verifying a large volume of data into our systems. The ideal candidate must have strong keyboarding skills, be able to multitask, and have excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input data into our databases and systems
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Maintain database by entering new and updated information
  • Retrieve and reconcile data as requested by management
  • Ensure data is entered in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Up to 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with databases
  • Excellent typing skills, with a minimum of 40 wpm
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
