Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately inputting and verifying a large volume of data into our systems. The ideal candidate must have strong keyboarding skills, be able to multitask, and have excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input data into our databases and systems
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Maintain database by entering new and updated information
- Retrieve and reconcile data as requested by management
- Ensure data is entered in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage multiple projects and priorities
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in a related field preferred
- Up to 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with databases
- Excellent typing skills, with a minimum of 40 wpm
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
