Finance Admin Support (Level 1)

Job Summary

The Finance Admin Support will provide administrative support to the finance department by performing various tasks such as data entry, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and communicating with clients and vendors. This person will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the finance department and will play a key role in the department’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data entry into finance systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor statements, and other financial reports
  • Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Processing of invoices and payments to vendors
  • Communicating with clients and vendors to resolve any issues or answer questions
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports
  • Filing and organizing financial documents
  • Supporting the finance department with any other tasks as required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance or accounting is preferred
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a finance or administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data
  • Good understanding of financial systems and processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
